But you can bet 2 to 1 odds that Lloyd will mark Jan 31 with a video entitled to the likes of “The Defamation - 1 Year Later”. He’ll reveal that him and Dijana are now divorced but at the time of Jan 31 they were well on their way to reconciliation. He’ll remark that it’s been hard on his kids and that he cries SO MUCH at night that he can’t be with them as he did before.

He’ll also take a shot at the Croatian court system for throwing his case out and promising to punish those bullies with civil suits.

Grundy didn’t do anything wrong anymore so than he was dead wrong about Evans. And he knew better after Evans put JW facts in the back of that bootleg and he didn’t say jack about it. Then he plugs his second book even though Evans despicably solicited $150 from abuse survivors to appear in the book.

For someone who has a standing offer to anyone who can prove he has wrong information on JW facts that he will remove or correct the information, well here’s something for him to chew on. What Evans was earning in 2017 was way more than his translation business run from the in-law’s attic could have ever earned. It’s even more so now.

He might have been conned by Evans when he claimed this. But nevertheless it’s still non-factual information that has yet to be corrected. Now that it’s clear what Evans was using this money towards it’s even more imperative to set the record straight.

Speaking of Andrew Gold, I do find it curious he did not sue him as he had promised. Not only did he interview Kim, he made a follow-up video essentially calling him a cult leader and then one with Dr Das where he was unofficially diagnosed as a psychopathic narcissist. Burger, Marc/Cora did a lot less and they were deemed as one of the more egregious cases to use his wording.

I think the answer to that is that Gold is a Twitter blue check mark, has a lot of viewership outside of ex JWs and would have totally dunked on him in a few more rebuttal videos. 4 of the 7 (Burger/Marc/Cora/Joel) do not make exJW videos anymore and it’s easier to go after them than YouTubers with sizable audiences like Gold and altworldly. The bottom line if he’s only interested in making examples out of these people and is confident that their sway over popular opinion is minimal.

I'm beginning to suspect that Lloyd can only speak one language - English.

There was a tweet a few years ago where he admitted he did not have the talent to learn new languages. I think Dijana mostly covered for him when they were out and about. And they speak English at home. I'm sure he knows enough to go to the market and purchase items but he cannot carry on a conversation in Croatian.

Here's an interaction he had with someone in the Expats in Zagreb group in April 2022 about joining a Croatian beginners class. So if he's joining a beginner's class, he's nowhere near fluent.

That's a good point because they had a falling out about a year ago which precipitated the split into the JWWatch subreddit. They weren't afraid to defy him then and even started a thread about it. So what changed?

My guess is he knows the true names and identities of the mods there and privately threatened them with litigation if they didn't shut down the threads that were started about him. It's probably part of the compromise that they started with their own "megathreads" which had all these rules beforehand about what you could or couldn't post. He'd do it here too if he felt Simon was a chump and would take down or lock this thread if he threatened him enough.

This is why beating him at his litigation game is so crucial. When he does fail to get any convictions in Croatia this needs to be absolutely plastered all over social media so people know he relies on fear to control the narrative and always has. When he was on this forum he often implied a ban was forthcoming if someone he didn't like kept replying to him.

I didn't even know Lloyd was a translator.

Lloyd wasn't and still isn't capable of a Croatian to English translation. His wife was the translator. He proofread it, made corrections to her English and took most of the credit as "Director" of JLE Translation Services even though "JLE" himself wasn't qualified to translate.

jwfacts: Lloyd is very talented and has a huge personality. The benefit is that he is interesting to watch and has gotten through to many people. With outspokenness comes friction, yet he is learning and refining his approach.

Now this is pure bullshit and a few (myself included) took issue with it at the time. So we had several of his supporters claim we were impugning his motives unfairly and were dead wrong about him. And WE were the irrational ones who were causing trouble. See how Lloyd works? He wasn't even on this forum, yet his Gospel was being preaching throughout the entire ether.

What exactly was he learning and precisely how was he refining his approach?

Evans had been known (esp from posters here who were among the first to spot it) for being a toxic bully. I’ve come to believe he can’t help it and in any therapy sessions he may have gone to (my opinion - he never went) he put on an act full of lies, half-truths and attempts to control the session - thus a complete waste of effort.

What truly bothers me is the cult he created. Especially the same people who pride themselves as TTATT people. You know, the ones who demand evidence and proof? Tom was on the right track when he stated the lowest point of this entire movement was when Kim’s initial Reddit statement was deleted by mods there, all under the guise of “well this could be a fake Kim Silvio”.

This woman had to create a YouTube channel on the spot, put her own face on camera and confirm it was her. It was a “take a look at my face and compare it to the Kim on Lloyd’s videos” moment like she was Christ inviting Thomas to place his hand in his wounds.

What happened next was the worst moment of ex JW history imo. After confirming it was her, instead of examining the testimony of someone who was known as Lloyd’s right hand, she got shouted down as a LIAR. A torrent of abuse followed and then something truly amazing happened next.

Lloyd announces his livestream and he’s taking her allegations head-on. The tweets are still there, take a good look. A common response: “I’m not even going to watch the livestream but you have my support 100%!”

Excuse me? We have a high level Ray Franz level defection and the default was to support Lloyd unconditionally? Without even watching what he had to say in response?

What if he did admit to underage sex?

So Lloyd confirms everything Kim alleged and the only contention was what the definition of “regular” visits to prostitutes meant. Lloyd knew what he was doing. He was changing the narrative to “this is none of your business” and it worked for a time afterward. Reddit was particularly nasty toward anyone who questioned the sex trafficking angle of it and were basically told they were prudish idiots.

The first weekend after that this community was eating itself alive. And you know something? I didn’t give one shit. Let it burn. That’s how ashamed I was to even be associated with this community which had its head buried deep up its own ass.

Thanks to Evans’s continued idiocy, retorts, threats and taunts, the momentum has shifted and his star is rapidly fading. Simply amazing how even after that disastrous livestream he had to keep feeding fuel to it to make people wake up to his manipulative tricks. But I won’t ever forget how exactly this went down nor will I forgive.

Yeah didn't he say he was singing in a band with his Cong buddies back in the UK?

He was known to freestyle on his acoustic guitar to Kingdom songs. Don't know about a band. Somewhere in his book he mentions that he brought along his guitar his mum's service and performed his version of "Life Without End At Last"

I see in the We Are The Slave song it says "performed by David Evans"

This was released before he came out with his real name. The credits read "Music and lyrics by John Cedars and David Evans; Performed by David Evans". Since the vocals on the song were unmistakably his, "David Evans" was his attempt at a pseudonym independent from "John Cedars".
